Deep within the jungles of Ixtli lies the temple-city of Escuintla. Once a great seat of an empire, now a smoldering shadow of its former glory. The city sprawls at the foot of a great volcano, and every year, in spite of the mountains of sacrifices cast into the lava by the king and his high priests, the earthquakes grow stronger and the smell of sulfur pervades more of the air.
It’s said that the temple in the mountain houses many treasures used as offerings. Gold and jade trinkets are just ripe for the taking. Provided you don’t get captured and offered up as appeasement to the god’s of course.

After some deliberation we decided on making some pretty large changes to the PDF. Go ahead and redownload for a more immersive experience.
- Changed the title and fonts. Also added in a quote.
- Fixed grammar and line break mistakes making it a lot easier to read
- Made more concise edits to paragraphs for better reading flow
- Moved artwork around.
- Added some more content.
